Begins: Our Spring session with 16 lessons will begin the week of January 25, 2021

Blockly: Sunday 1pm-3pm, Tuesday 4pm-6pm, Thursday 4pm-6pm

JavaScript: Sunday 4:30pm-6:30pm, Wednesday 7pm-9pm

Class Size: 3 - 6 students

Topic: Beginner computer coding course

Intended Students: Children in Grades 6-8, advanced 5th Graders or Exceptional 4th Graders
    * Instructor's approval required for Grade 5-4 children

What they will learn / accomplish:

Basics:    sequencing, loops, conditionals, functions, variables
Computers: input, output, storage and processing
Advanced:  design of two coding projects

Continuance: CF102 in Summer 2021

The Web Forester's instructor, Raymond Naseef, teaches coding lessons continuing the step-by-step advancement of coding skills he has used in lessons over the last 13 years.

 

Raymond also teaches private lessons and will work with each child to find the best place to start based upon the instructor's assessment of the child and what material will best meet their needs.
